Not a good start to the holidays...

Greetings fellow forumers...

IT'S THE HOLIDAYS!!! YAY!!! WOOT!!! and all the rest.

However, my holidays (and a few other people from around here) didn't get off to a good start.

A fellow classmate drowned yesterday. At the same place where another classmate drowned a few years ago.

People knew the place was unsafe. But these things happen.

May I please have a moment of silence.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear about that - I guess if it happens that much it can't be safe to be there, but that doesnt change the fact that it's tragic. I certainly hope your holiday improves... and indeed that everyone copes ok with it.

Sorry to hear that pete...a girl was also murdered this year too...she was 15 years old...murdered by her 23 year old(I think it was around there...) boyfriend.

Hope nothin' else like this happens anymore...
