What modding program is very easy to use because I SUCK a modding!

COB-POF  

Er... I could recommend... a few. As a base prog, you need TrueSpace, since all FS models are converted from COBs, and after that, anything really compatible, which means practically nothing...

I should mention that I generally end up using a series of conversions covering a minimum of 4 programs, all just to get some semblance of the original in TS.

the majical program that reads you mind and determines what you would consider cool then generates it, UVmaps it and makes perfict textures for it all in half a second, it's made by Oberon king of the faries and is available for the limmeted time offer of just 1.25 human soles, it's what I use, I think Venom has a copy of it too.

a bad one,
but a joke none the less,
the point of wich was that there are no modding tools that are easy to learn/master/use and in some cases get ahold of, but if you want to make new models for freespace you will need Truespace4.2 or higher, lithunwrap, PCS, and Paint Shop Pro/Photoshop in addition to the basic modding tools in the Dnet fs pack. I'm too lazy to get links to all these things but this is more than you probly had before I graced this thread with my devine presince and God like spelling.

Nah, you can use TrueSpace1 or MilkShape  .

truespace of some sort is needed at the last sage of geometry and UV development, even if you don't actualy do anything in truespace other than open apply a texture and save.
then use PCS to convert to POF and add all the POF data.

Yep no matter how easy you want it to be it never is. Whatever type of modding you intend to do will require time, effort and in most cases a certain amount of dissapointment.

If you're resolute you might make something cool though

Where can you get the stuff? Either shell out a hell of a lot of cash, make lots of file-sharing friends, or become temporarily useful. Sometimes, just being irritating enough gets you halfway there... I speak from experience.
