I dunno you all but Im really exited to see a game of battlestar galactica, to bad is only ofr X-box and PS2 , but I hope a PC version will come soon, it I can see from the immage it seems that it uses an engien similar to StarLancer

Dude, the Starlancer engine kicks more ass than the world Kick-Boxing Champion at a Jennifer Lopez look-alike party.

I never said the Engine is bad, BTW I have never seen a Space Sim Engien bad, more me they all rock, they all have good stff and bad stuff, but they all are food

Engines like StarShaltteres and Vega Stike will rock too, I hope those guys finish a good game on those engien and get enrole on a Game copany to make new Space sim games

Well if this game does well it might trigger more interest in Space sim games in general. So I hope it is brilliant when it comes out.

You do realise BSG has one of the largest EVER fan followings?

It finished like 20 years ago and people are still modelling Cylon Raiders and Colonial Vipers for every game out there, even to this very day.

Yeah. But that won't help much if the game is ****

In fact if the game itself is rubbish some people who were thinking to develop a space sim will point at it and say that BG couldn't sell well because it was a space sim rather than because it was ****.

That's why I really hope the game sells well.

I'm in two minds about it. Much as I relish the idea of BSG getting a game at last, albeit on the X-Box, the sweet taste of the idea is heavily soured when you examine where the 'stuff' for the game came from.

It's not based on the original BSG, but the 're-imagined' garbage that Sci-Fi channel is about to spew.

Gotta love that trailer...I'm glad the original music is returning (I HOPE it does for the new Mini-Series) along with the franchise. It was pretty good.

Now I'm not as much of a BSG purist as others so I have less of a problem with a re-imagined series. If its good, regardless of if its different, then it deserves credit. After all Star Trek: The Next Generation was a re-imagined version of classic Trek but after a few years people were into it big time. So much so that it spawned two spinoffs.

You can't make a bad opinion on a game by looking at the case. you've got to....fool around with it.

i've got one really stupid question. weren't the cylons created by a race of ancient reptiles? and what the heck happened to them did they get owned by their creations?

If I remember correctly, it was something like that, yes. I'm not sure of the reptile connection though.

How come no one ever points out the whole Old Testament connection with BSG? Did everyone miss the whole wandering tribes and Lost Tribe setup and the angels and everything?
