My Nissan Altima is, of course, 5 speed :D  It's a 3.5 liter, 6 cylinder V block slanted at 60 degrees, dual overhead cams, with 245 horses with a displacement of 213.45 cubic inches.  Small engine, I know, but it's pushing 246 pounds of torque at 4,400 rpm's.

Front wheel drive with thin, stock performance tires means this car basically sits there if I floor it.  That's the one thing I don't appreciate, cuz even when I want to cross a street or make a quick turn between traffic I spin for a split second.  But that will change if I get pseudo-slicks (they're basically racing slicks w/ a little bit of tread).

The WAI I installed adds about 7-10 horsies.  I haven't dyno'ed the car yet to know what the power is at the wheels, but I hope to do that soon.  Haven't taken this car to the track, either.  From what I've seen, it does about 14.3 to 14.5 in the 1/4, stock.  I've been planning a trip to the track for some time now, but it's just a mission to go (it's over an hour and a half drive).  Some have gotten it into the 13's already after modding, and I plan on being one of them.

Viper. Not bad, but it's a testament to overdoing things...
Aston Martin Vanquish. I want one.
Overpriced Ford
I want one of these as well. Jaguar E-Type. Great car (old, but look at it - it's a classic).
Another Overpriced Ford
It doesnt have to be big to be sporty. Lotus Elise - a nice little car they stick together with glue (no kidding).
Meh.
And finally...

Mine. (Well, one like mine - which is actually blue). It's small, slow and brilliant for a first time driver. Meh...
:Ha: hehe

And that viper may have Jap parts. Chrysler owns Dodge. They also merged with Mercedes, and have controlling interest in Mitsubishi, so...

You call the E-Type Jaguar an overpriced ford and expect people to take your opinion on cars seriously? The car is a CLASSIC.

I saw a site once that illustrated how much you'd save if you never owned a car. It was a bloody lot. And the car in question was economical, unlike most of those petrol-guzzlers above.

I don't even like cars all that much but to deny the E-Type it's classic status is just immoral. Heads will roll mark my words.

Meh. I don't really care for Jaguar. It may be a classic, I don't actually know much about the Jaguar lineup, save for the XKR. And even then, my knowledge is limited.

I don't actually care if you 'take me seriously.'

This thread isn't going to change my feelings towards any of you, or my tastes in cars.

And why should you take me seriously?  I'd prefer to have a 3000Gt VR-4 (Or the Japanese MR version) over any vehicle on the market (except perhaps an FTO GP Version R, not available in America). I'd say my opinion is very biased.

Raa Tor'h, I think you ought to know that Jaguar used to be a purely British car firm (I believe). So did Aston Martine (why do you think they showed up in almost all the Bond films?).

Either way, take the car for what it is - not who made it - especially if you don't actually know who made it ;)

Petrarch, what were you expecting? I'm just saying which cars I like - as for everyone else... well I hesitate to comment!
