Lets hope that the Wooden plank portraying Anakin isn't as wooden in the next one. I can only watch so much acting from a piece of wood.

If he has time/energy/money to make more and more Star Wars films, I would be glad to accept those. :)
I just don't know how the Episodes would be numbered, Episode IV,V,Vi cannot be, and even VII,VIII,IX exist(The Thrawn trilogy).

[EDIT]I don't know why films are critical to reveal more about specific characters. Even books ARE GOING TO suffice. If I know it well(and I hope so), books are cheaper to produce.
Yeah, visual effects. They were all good(except of the starfield in Episode I, when Ruune Haako and Nute Gunray were talking to Sidius about the abbasadors being Jedi.

Acting, plot, a believable or internally consistent universe... these things are secondary these days. If even that.

um, ive known that for like 5 years, There is 9 episodes to the whole series. Not that i know what the last 3 are about.

I did't mind AOTC... even if (or because) a large chunk was written as an excuse to dress natalie portman in less and less clothing.....True, some of it was nauseatingly irritating (anything with Hayden Christiansen for one thing...although he is suppossed to be a dick anyways.

he new films may seem a bit soulless in comparison to the original ones, but I reckon that's just nostalgia working its way in.  Those people I've talked to who only saw the original a few years ago (i.e. special edition) weren't particularly impressed by them.

Zahn is writing a second trilogy about Thrawn apparently, or rather what happened after he died or such something.

Well, they didn't say if he actually died or not in the end of the book...so I guess theres a probablility that he's still alive then.
I finally destoryed the Shivan armada and all I got was this lousy T shirt.

Aldo: Yeeeah, character development and a plot that anyone gives two ****s about beyond "things shooting things" are overrated. Probably never existed, we just think they did because we're nostalgic for something that never happened.

I didn't particularly like the original Star Wars. Thought most of the characters weren't very likeable, the aliens and environments were of only marginally higher grade than Star Trek's, and that the whole Jedi Knight thing was hokey beyond hokey. Gimme some a' that blaster action any day. But it didn't suck. It was just about as poor as most sci-fi movies are. Episode 1 was a genuinely bad movie, any way you looked at it.

I like Ep2, too. I don't know why the others critise(OK, I don't know how to write it correctly :)) this film. At most the 'Yoda-Dooku' duel could be considered as 'Comical' :)

there won't be a 7-9 now... all the books took care of stuff that happened afterwards, IE: Coruscant, Thrawn (twice)...

As for Thrawn, he did die, but he had a clone of himself that would be finished 10 years after he failed to reset the timer. It was destroyed also, along with The Hand of Thrawn, a huge listening post where Baron Fel along with hundreds of chiss were waiting for a signal to bring the chiss into the galactic picture, and throw the game in the imps favor...

But first trilogy actors(Luke=Hamil, Solo=Harrison Ford) too old act films after Episod 6. Before Episod 4 and after Epsid 3= Episod 3.5? :)

Actually, it's more canon than you might think, considering it was Zahn who introduced Coruscant into the SW universe. Whether it was Lucas's idea that he let Zahn introduce or what, I don't know.
