Mark Hamill's accident occured during the initial stages of filming/planning for The Empire Strikes Back, which caused Lucas to write in the whole Wampa scene in the very beginning, to explain the change in Luke's facial structure. Note that you don't see Luke's face clearly (if at all) until after his run-in with the Wampa.

And the Thrawn trilogy is set 5 years after Endor, not 20. :-/

Actually I wasn't referring to the Thrawn triliogy,...just that if Lucas did happen to decide to made 7-9 and he kept up with the roughly two decades between trilogies,...then the original actors/actresses would be about the correct age.

As far as Hamil's accident, not sure about it being before or after Jedi (my understanding is it was indeed after and that actually was why he was only doing voices) but you know, all Lucas would have to do is write into the script that Luke gets a bit f**ked up at some point. Yea it would be against every novel,...but then again look at where Palpy got the DS plans in Ep1 vs the novel's story about it.

Don't take this as anything personal,...but I'll never understand why anyone would want to take one man's work and have someone else do it instead. Just like that whole petition to make Lucas give up Star Wars so Peter Jackson could do the rest.  That'd kinna be like me posting that I think *insert random user name here* should take over HLP because I like how he makes sites better.

Meh, see I've had no problem with any of the 5 Movies. Granted Ep 1 wasn't nearly what I'd expected,...yet at the same time it told part of the needed background story. Ep 2 was the same but with a more SW-ish huge battle at the end. To me it's always been
4-6= Luke's Story
1-3= Vader's Story

At the same time, it was Lucas' vision that gave us the story that we're discussing right this moment, I don't care if the man makes Ep 3 and has Vader come out of the closet and admit he secretly has sexual fantasies about Obi Wan and Jar Jar, it's his story to tell.

Besides which, it doesn't even work. Interspecies sex doesn't have anything to do with homosexuality, it's like saying that because you like eating play-doh you love swallowing nails too because neither are ordinary food sources. It doesn't even sound like it should make sense. Unless you're somehow assuming all Shivans (never mind any Shivans) are male, which would change things entirely, except that that's just plain stupid.
