Uh...What's the name of that Transformers mod again? did'n't they use a similar trick to 'transform' ?
Let's see, we need a center object to be the main object...lod0 becomes hull0-subobj for decloaked, hull0-subobj-destroyed for cloaked, and since the 'cloaked' part don't need to be detailed...a cube could almost do...and since subobjects can be repaired (or SEXPed to a key)...
That would make it reusable and CPU friendly, not?
