WTF?!?

Don't get me wrong, I liked everything upto and including War Of Honor, it's the goddamn follow-ups that're pissing me off.

WoH finishes with Emily basically saying "Go ahead, Honey, **** her brains out", then every book after that is just crap that just expands on things that've already been clearly established in previous books.

Granted, some people might give a damn about the first time someone caught a Treecat stealing ****, but I don't.

I like my stories to be linear, clear, concise and to follow up their ****ing cliff-hangers with some goddamn CONCLUSIONS!!![/b]

Nothing pisses me off more than "Look, we've started another inter-stellar war, but now let's go back in time 5 years and tell you about the genetic slave trade".

I vote for both, but I have to admit, I still love the books so far. So far Weber is the only scifi author that's written about a Navy that feels authentic to me. It matches up with my experiences in the US Navy and the people I worked with in the British Navy.

For that proper 'feel', I'm willing to forgive the fact that Honor Harrington is the future space navy equivalent of Ferris Bueler and Parker Lewis.

Nah, for all the perfection and seeming invincibility, Honor is cool. Because you always know if someone pushes her just that extra little bit she'll fu[color=23423][/color]cking snap and go on a killing spree.

But what a ****ing cop-out. The Andermani are all "Death to the Peeps", White Haven's just about cum in his pants and Theisman and Pritchart are out to conquer the galaxy then they completely cut you off.

I could understand maybe one book of back-tracking. I'd have liked to have heard more about slavery even if it was backtracking, but a whole ****ing series of books? Most of which weren't written by Weber? No goddamn way.

and yeah, one book of backtracking was fun, and the treecat stuff is  kinda nice when you overlook all the continuity errors, but this is getting bloody annoying.
