Nothing. Nothing is greater than God, nothing is more evil than the devil, the poor have nothing and the rich need nothing, and if you eat nothing you will die.

It's quite an old one and was in an old Greek myth as poeple who studied Greek mythology will know.

A Human If I didn't know that one I wouldn't be much of a history teacher

-Morning stands for the early years in our life where we crawl on all fours.
- Midday stands for the time when a person learns how to walk.
- Dusk stands for when we grow old and need a cain of sorts to walk (a third leg).



Ow, and it isn't Ancient Greek mythology, it's Egyptian mythology. This riddle is called 'The Riddle of the Sphinx'. Though similar Greek riddles do exist.
