You can see it. But think about it – without the help of so-called "experts", how do you really know what you’re looking at? It could be a hologram, projected from various government installations throughout the world.

Well, lets see. Theres mention of it all through our history, dating back thousands of years. Different cultures had gods or goddesses for the moon.

Well, lets see. There was enough evidence to produce an hour long TV show on a major and reliable channel, which is sort of the Canadian version of Discovery. Some were very, very peculiar, such as the crosshair (I don't know the proper name) of the camera being behind and object that was being filmed (the American flag),which is impossible.

This was 2 or 3 years ago, and I can't remember the specifics, but it was a pretty convincing case. That is, if you have no prejudice as to the validity of the claims that a man walked on the moon, which I don't. I try to have as little prejudice as possible and let the facts speak for themselves.

edit: it was on TLC, which is apparently owned by Discovery, and it was broadcast on Discovery itself aswell, it seems.

I remember seeing this too, and was interested enough to research a little for myself at the time. I found a massive amount of evidence to refute those claims, I'll see if some of the Websites are still running

I wasn't interested enough to warrant further research, so the claims could very well be false. It was an interesting hour during the long, boring Sunday afternoon TV programming, which if you asked me served its purpose.

You mean you believed something you heard on FOX? You didn't even bother to check if their extraordinary claims were true before swallowing them hook, line and sinker?  You're more stupid than I gave you credit for if that's the case.

If you don't give an objective view you can make a documentary that proves the sky is green or as in the case above that there is no moon.

Anyone with half an ounce of science training can debunk half of the lies on that show instantly and furthermore point to proof in that show that the moon landing did happen (Watch it again and see how the dust moves - Perfect parabola. You couldn't get that on earth except in a vaccuum which sort of torpedos the whole flag waving due to the wind arguement).

As for the crosshairs that's one of the most stupid things I've ever heard. If NASA doctored the photos by adding the cross hairs later how do you think they could possibly end up with the black bit going behind and object? Did they take a bunch of black crosses in and staple them to the set?
The effect was caused by the bright white object in the foreground bleeding out the black of the crosshairs. Nothing mysterious about it.

it wasn't FOX, the it was the significantly more reliable TLC. I said "they made a pretty convincing case". That is assumng you have no scientific background, which most people don't, myself included (other than highschool level physics). Oh well, so the claims are refuted. So much for that theory, no big deal.
