the entire executive base of the following publishing houses: Interplay, EA, Eidos, THQ.

PC gaming is in decline guys, and its being replaces by hiphop street-racing Britney Spears console games that appeal to 12 year olds who think 2Fast 2Furious is a masterpiece and who wouldn't know a good game if it bit them in the ass.

And the publishers are catering to it, and making money hand over fist. Remember when there was a debate a few years ago whether or no games are art? Ha, what a joke. At the time, it might have been true, but what we're seeing in the games industry right now relfects whats happening in the music industry and to the entertainment industry, and that is that what is being produces is cookie-cutter, mass market bull****.

All we have is our memories. You think there's going to be a new System Shock, a new Fallout, a new Baldur's Gate? Ha! Not likely, and if there is, they will be XBox exclusive and will be dumbed for a 10 year old. And lets not forget the pop-culture references. Or street racing. Or dating. Or just about anything the most powerful consumer force in North America - 12 to 17 years olds - wants, which is usually bull****.
