well after a long absence i saw a lot of new things here also the member counter has reached the 2000 so why haven't the hlp an irc channel at quakenet or somewhere else i think this could be a good place to talk or ?

SCP meets periodically on IRC, and I believe some community members HAVE an IRC channel on one of the bigger networks.

As far as I can tell we've simply no need to host one ourselves (plus it would require moderation.. and that's a headache).

HLP'ers sometimes frequent the nodewar channel.
