You've tried all the guns by about half way through, seen all the enemies by about the same time, and the story is pretty uninspiring. Plus the continous reuse of the same levels gets on my tits - it's too bloody repetitive.
Cardinal sin is that you can't fire out the rear door of a dropship.... that could have saved the dgame, but alas - no.
by the looks of it, you can do so in the sequel, or something of the like, but the proof will be in the pudding, really..
yeah, i'll admit, Halo's multi was its only saving grace on PC, but it was marred by its astronomical hardware requirements... (thanks to gearbox..

)
Halo on the Console, however, it was flawless, given that none of its features (namely the vehicles) felt "tacked-on" bear in mind that most console FPS's really botched up various intergrations of features, and made them feel like several games in one.. Turok: evo is one such example.. oh, and the bodies don't dissappear, either..
halo shows Developers how a console FPS should be made.. but, that said, hopefully halo2 will correct the gripes that are present in the first one.
remember, the last few games that bungie made were Oni, and the Myth series of games, so cut them some slack for being slightly out of practice in the fine art of FPS's;)
