actualy this has nothing to do with the voting. The nations in a reigon are re-ranked nightly on a different catagory, yesterday it was greatest poor-rich divides, today it is largest pizza delivery sector. I'm #14 now, was #3 yesterday.

Khybernia is mine :p

Anyway, compulsory voting removed my corruption. However baning religious and gun crazies from my country reduced political freedoms to average. Meh. At least my civil rights are good, yays!

Yeah, political freedoms are unneded. Economy is IMO the most important catagory, when that's good you can focus on civil rights (as i am doing now)

In a bid to provide a new revenue stream for Girls Aloud 3000's Beef-Based Agriculture industry, it has been suggested that cheryl tweedys could be added to the menu.

   1. "The fact is, the cheryl tweedy population is out of control," says Beef-Based Agriculture spokesperson Gregory Fellow. "We have to do something about them anyway, so why not market them as tasty snacks? We could have cheryl tweedy kebabs, cheryl tweedy pies, cheryl tweedy-on-a-sticks--the possibilities are endless! Let's not pass up this golden opportunity to provide a feast, if you will, for our economy."

   2. "I agree that something needs to be done about cheryl tweedy over-population," says random passer-by Dave Mistletoe, "but eating them? That's kind of gross. Let's just shoot the ones we have to and shovel their bodies into ditches like normal."

   3. "I am shocked and appalled!" declared SPCA President Colin Nagasawa. "If anyone needs to be culled, it's us humans. The cheryl tweedys were here first, remember? We need to take this as a sign to get our industry--agriculture in particular--to back off. The cheryl tweedy is part of what makes Girls Aloud 3000 a great nation!"

Just for the sake of an update:

New Parallax

The Allied States of New Parallax is a small, pleasant nation, renowned for its burgeoning quil population. Its intelligent population of 8 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, Social Welfare, and Law & Order. The average income tax rate is 20%, but much higher for the wealthy. A large private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Soda Sales and Cheese Exports.

Voting is voluntary, nudity is frowned upon, all tariffs have been abolished, and organ donation rates have hit a new low. Crime is moderate. New Parallax's national animal is the quil and its currency is the klax.

New Parallax is ranked 1204th in the region and 23,684th in the world for Largest Cheese Export Sector.

Lol I got this issue today:

A loose coalition of sartorially-challenged individuals known as "Let It All Hang Out" has called on the government to relax public nudity laws.
The Debate

   1. "For too long, our bodies have been trapped in these prisons of cotton and polyester!" yelled protester Charles Wong, while apparently developing a nasty case of sunburn. "We must repeal the puritanical laws that make public nudity a crime. My body--my choice to dangle!"
      [Accept]

   2. "I agree," mused sociology professor Peggy Dredd. "But I don't think the protestors are going far enough. Public nudity shouldn't be an option: it should be compulsory. Nudity is highly liberating. And it would put that disgusting "Hooters" out of business once and for all."
      [Accept]

   3. "Whoa, whoa," says noted accountant Gregory Falopian. "Are these people serious? The last thing I want to see when I'm out for a coffee is some lumbering, over-weight nudist coming down the sidewalk toward me. If people want to get naked, they can do it in the privacy of their own homes. Think of the children!"
      [Accept]

I couldn't stop laughing when I read it. It was to funny so which should I pick

Compulsory nudity ofcourse! Go option 2!

...ofcourse you would need a second legislation to kill all ugly people before doing that :p

Just a note though; making something compulsory also makes your civil rights rating go down. ;)

Civil Rights: Some
Economy: Good
Political Freedoms: Superb

The Republic of Vaynar is a small, safe nation, notable for its burgeoning Phoenix population. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 8 million love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, corrupt morass -- juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Religion & Spirituality, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 39%, but much higher for the wealthy. A substantial private sector is led by the Woodchip Exports industry, followed by Information Technology and Automobile Manufacturing.

Voting is voluntary, the death penalty has been reintroduced, and punitive tariffs protect local industry. Crime is well under control, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Vaynar's national animal is the Phoenix and its currency is the laure.
