As the previous thread about this ship (
here) is now languishing down on page 3/4, and had turned into a discussion of 3D programs, I thought I'd create a new one rather than bump it after a couple of weeks.

Anyway, here are some more shots of the Iron Duke class destroyer, showing off the new bits on the bow, the general detail on the main hull, and the improved superstructure.

I still need to redo the engines, as they look like bricks at the moment. I'd be open to any suggestions, as I'm not going to start them yet - still more to do to the hull first, including detailing the underside properly, adding a ventral superstructure, and altering the stern (I'm not happy with it at the moment).
Details such as sensor spikes and antenna will be assymetrical, so they'll be added last of all - I work on half the model and mirror it at the moment. There'll be sensor spikes on the front of that bowsprit thingy, and there'll be antennae and aerials on the masts and superstructure. There will also be another sensor array on one side of the bow, and a large beam cannon on the other. Main turret battery will be along the sides (those long shapes in the middle), and flak battery will be beside the superstructure at the bows and bridge.
Comments and critiques welcome as always. Cheers!
