Sex after marriage... Really?
:wtf: I've been going to the gym and do workouts 3 days a week for the last 6 years. And i didn't stop after getting married. That stuff just doesn't make sense. Maybe in America, where obesity is the norm :p

On a side note, sex lives should be more lively in scotland seeing as we need to keep warm more often...

I'm going to try that argument next time I'm waiting in the Garage queue.

Doctor's have an odd measure of obesity though.  According to the current scale, people like Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts are obese.

That is the national age of consent. Individual prefectures have their own age of consents which override that.

From Wikipedia:

Japan: 13 nationwide, 16 to 18 in most prefectures; however, age of marriage for a female with parental approval is 16.

The BMI is so off, it's not funny. I'm 5'3 and 140 pounds (mostly muscle), and I'm close to dying or something
Eat what your body wants, let it take care of itself. If it can't do that, then do what you need to do to make it work.

[color=66ff00]Indeed, I'm a skinny wretch but I've always hovered around the same weight and I don't get sick or have dietary maladies. I'm not sure if it affects how women view me as much as being fat would but I'm pretty happy with myself tbh.

BTW may I suggest 'Wangii' for the plural in Nippon? ;)

See thats the thing...there's some people who are shorter such as yourself, weigh a certain weight, and are perfectly healthy, normal, stable weight, and their body is quite happy with the way it is.  I'm the taller, lighter sort, who could probably use some more muscle mass and a gain in weight rather than reduction (muscle weighs more - but also permits higher metabolism and therefore food energy).

The BMI for me has trouble because there are at least three different main body types, some people have thick bones, some people have thin ones, some people are more capable of weight lifting while others are sprint runners, etc.

Yep.
I'm 6'2.5" and yet I'm a paisly 145lbs.  No matter what I do I cannot gain any weight. I tried working out for a year, but found that, while I ate a hell of alot more, I never actually gained weight, nor muscle...
I could never get an accurate body fat percentage, either. It was always something like 4%, when the machine didn't report back with an error for my lack of fat...
Was truly strange.

just thought i'd throw in, in light of the current discussion, that i weighed around 180 - 185 when i started working out, and after a few months i weighed 200 - 205.  i'm 6'3" or 6'4"... thereabouts.

so yeah, it's true that you gain a lot of muscle mass when you work out

Yep...thats similar to myself.  I'll eat more if I work out or do lots of exercise and the like but I don't shift much in weight.  Females hate us types for that ability...I guess its the metabolism thats generally faster and probably even more so when you take into account being of a taller height (I'm 5'11).
