Eat what your body wants, let it take care of itself. If it can't do that, then do what you need to do to make it work.
See thats the thing...there's some people who are shorter such as yourself, weigh a certain weight, and are perfectly healthy, normal, stable weight, and their body is quite happy with the way it is. I'm the taller, lighter sort, who could probably use some more muscle mass and a gain in weight rather than reduction (muscle weighs more - but also permits higher metabolism and therefore food energy).
The BMI for me has trouble because there are at least three different main body types, some people have thick bones, some people have thin ones, some people are more capable of weight lifting while others are sprint runners, etc.
