Personally, I give a big thumbs upto the GTD Cube...that one was and continues to be awesome (and about 3 times as complicated as my best 3D model ).

Not really Raa, or rather, I'd hope that you and the rest of the community has more sense than to feed the trolls. This does of course go for all of you - just ignore the likes of the wonderful pecenipicek here and let an admin deal with it.

Anyway Cobra is showing some improvement in his modelling skills so it looks like the thread hasn't been a complete waste of time

No not at all.....a few good things have happened here....so far cobra has improved on his modeling skills, Metal has gone on to use a lesser modelling program....and Kal and windrunner hung the "No Trolls allowed on the grass" sign.  all in all a productive thread.  ie derek...i mean Pac is gone.

Cobra, keep going with what you are doing.  and for what it's worth...to hell with TS, it has the interface of a monkey screwing a football.  go back to blender, you are comfortablew with it, and learning it.  this will accomplish two things...the most important of which is that you will master one modelling program before playing with another.  That is important.  Your biggest improvements came from that program, i would continue to learn it.

and 2.  it keeps you away from truespace 3.2.  if you do this i will make you a deal, if you master blender and become a modeller of merit using it, and then still want TS, i will give you my copy of TS 5.

That's the only reason i hate TS. I only use it for turning my .blends to .cobs, then i use a separate program from Volition Watch to turn it into .pofs.

Yours I assume. As for detail, there is lots you can do to it. It is still very primitive looking.
The X-Wing is a very angular ship, yes, but it doesnt have perfectly sharp edges. They're rounded off, the wings look like they should provide lift in an atmosphere. That kind of thing. After that is the finer details, the "cowls" on the lasers, detail on the inside of the engines, cockpit, R2! Tons of things.
