I love midless action and the like. What I really hate is that when producers make a film about a game, they totally neglect the source material. If they want to make a midless action movie with huge cleavage, fine but if all that has nothing to do with the source material, why even bother to use the name of it? Well. A simple answer. Cause the name alone will sell the movie. The toon about Doom and metroid prime stated it perfectly. Just as long as the name is still attached, it will sell.
Its cheap tacics man. Right now, what they're cooking up for doom sounds interesting, if not familiar to Resident Evil. But if they change the name, then I'll be fine with it. Cause what they're doing isn't Doom. If they want to make a film about a game, they should stick to the source material.
