Little Things Bugging Me

Last post, the perseus (it's Nico's) is in the zip with the rest of the terran fighters with glowpoints.  For the HTL Orion, run a search on those terms and it should turn up.  Or check the link from the "HTL Status v2" thread at the top of the Freespace Modding forum.

Yeah, I can see the Orion now and it looks great... the Perseus glowpoints didn't show up though.  Did you extract the stuff I had in "maps" from that zip?

yup. all the stuff - still wont show no matter what I do :/

edit: put it in /effects too, just in case it didn't work in /maps. and it still doesnt work.

Everything's there that should be, unless... you aren't using jpgtga, are you.  Bob's Herc may be in a distribute with pcx glowpoints.

Put it in the root directory.

Oh, and is the HTL Orion fully functional (i.e. will it move around and shoot at you and do all the things the original Orion model does)?

Do you have a Perseus model in a higher-precedence location, like root?  I've had that bug come up a time or two.

one minor gripe with singh's shot, it has the Galatea on it but it also has a Perseus, teh Galatea got smashed by the Lucifer 32 Years before the Perseus was first deployed

Yeah that model should actually have a transparent nameplate instead of what it has now.  But I think the base model was done as the Galatea, like the original Orion.

Any chance of getting it anti-aliased? I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, but that'd make it look a lot nicer. :nod:

As for the Perseus glowpoints, make sure you put 'em in the right mod dir. that never workds out well. ;)

The destroyer in the FS2 Intro is the GTD Legion and the Hades is a er.... naturally coloured mountain!
