Perhaps because the 'reversed swasticka' is a manji and has been a symbol of for good fortune throughout the east?

Or perhaps that before the swasticka was a symbol of the Nazi party, it was a symbol used by countless civilizations throughout europe?

Hmm...? Just a thought...

Gee, I wonder what the writer wanted to say there......

The swatiska is actually a Buddhist symbol, the nazi took it over, but reversed, I think.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, after Naruto ended (and Naruto2 started), it pretty much proved that it is in fact, _nothing_ like Dragonball at all.

There maaay be some similarities, but it practically shows that this one has its own formula.

Naruto was pretty much just a set-up for Naruto 2 (and maybe Naruto 3, although I don't think 3 is going to happen, the way 2 has kicked off).

Plot wise, it's very similar to the original DB ( I repeat, NOT DBZ, heh, Tiara :p - tho there's a handful of ideas from there too ) series. I can make a comparison list if you want, concerning character traits, special rivalry, demonic possession or seal by a big beast, variations of backgroud made from chinese legends and so on, if you want :p

DB is just as bad as DBZ and GT. Period. :ick:

Well, the original with subbing (NOT dubbing) is tolerable. But that's all.

Anything dubbed is intolerable in my book :p
It just takes away too much of whatever it is I'm watching.

Oh.. and Animesuki has removed Naruto from it's website.
Bah..
Oh well, I'll find some means of getting episode 122 tomorrow, hopefully Dattebayo will still release the episodes.

Wow, so many people wanted to correct me about the swastika sign.

The fact that you all knew that the thing was ripped off by Nazi's should probably give you a hint that I know exactly the same thing as you do.

Jesus.

I used it in the correct context. If you take a look at what the seal means, you should see the god damn point.

All I'm doing here is connecting the dots people. Quit explaining things that aren't necessary.

---------------------------------------

On another note, AnimeSuki took it down, seeing as how it will be airing on Cartoon Network this year.

NarutoFan is taking away the torrents as well, and god knows how many other sites as well.

I personally, can watch the thing in RAW (and we all know it will be released as RAW, 122 came out today), so I'm cool if nobody chooses to sub it, although that won't be true, because someone definatly will be subbing it.

Anyway.....meh.

Also, at the DB comparison. No, again, it's nothing like DB, DBZ, DBGT, or anything D related.

Unless you are heavily without information, you will find that all of these types of Anime are actually just different interpertations of the old legends and stories and crap that the East overflows with, ranging from India, over China and Korea, to Japan.

The seals, monsters, abilities, etc. - they're all derivative from that. IF you're going to spot "Naruto = DB", you already fail at comparing, because the obvious is (du'h) a given.

The only thing you CAN compare these types of genre induced anime, are only basically three things. Story, the way it's told, and the animation that carries you through it.

You will notice, DB and Naruto, have _NOTHING_ in common in those departments.

Naruto and DB have a lot of things in common. Naruto is simply a different aspect of that (and a much better one i might add).

That's the most limiting view ever... it consists out of so much more then that.

Nobody will post promo's.  I haven't ever seen it and have never even ****ing heard of it before you jokers started making a fuss, does that make me unworthy of being educated about it?  If so, go **** a tree fanboi...

DB is a classic.

For those of you that are Naruto fans.
DB is derived from the legends of the Monkey King, but in a very odd way, correct?
