The most beautiful attack helicopter in the world?

Strange question, but bear with me now! And no, I'm not insane :nervous:

I'm not talking (purely) in terms of loadout/performance, but the looks. So what is the most beautiful gunship existing? My choice is the Mi-24 Hind. The curviness and the blockiness of it are the things I like in it. It is a very utilitarian design, yet beautiful and elegant (and deadly). Wish I could fly it someday :sigh:

And, being the American that I am, I see the AH-64 Apache as one of the sexiest pieces of flying machinery ever.

Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.

Lynx. Worked on one of those at Farnborough, they are one sexy Machine ;) Oh, and a pilots opinion of an Apache was 'It looks nicer than it flies, but it's ok' ::)

I'm forced to agree, the Apache is an excellent attack helicopter both in looks and purpose.

That said, I'm more of a jet man myself. If you were to push me on that front I'd say the F16, F18 and SU27 are definitely amongst my favourites.

LOL As far as jets are concerned, I'm an F14 man, practically the flying symbol of the Cold War, even if it's outdated these days :) Though the Harrier still inspires a little bit of homeland pride, even if were were stupid enough to contract out the design ;)

Outdated?

It's not much of a dogfighter, but it's still a hell of an advesary in a BVR fight.
Those phoenix are quite hard to dodge.

...though I tend to go against anything in a 2(bandits) vs. 1(me) with my Flanker.

Well, if we go into jets (going OT already?:p ) I would have to say that my favorites among them are the MiG-21, Su-15 and the Yak-28.

Plus its got an onboard bog.

Helos the Hind for looks alone, the Havok coming a close second:

As for jets, I've got a thing for the way the F-22 looks. It's just so... streamlined and beautiful.

The F117 gets the odd looks department award though.
