if the NTF stole an only ship, like the colossus, would it be called the GTVA Colossus? no! If they stole a normal ship, say, an orion, would it be called GTD Orion? Yes! There is no statistical difference between GTD Orion and NTF Orion, so they just call it the GTD Orion.
The Colossus, however, is an only ship. So if the NTF took it, they would call it the NTF Colossus because it is theirs, and nobody will mistake it for a "new variant of the Colossus", because there is only one.
This rule applies to the Iceni. Before called GTFr Iceni, now called NTF Iceni.
I made it GTCV Iceni because of:
1. It is for game reasons. You sometimes are not playing as NTF and want to use an Iceni. With my above arguement, you can just fly multiple Icenis as you can with multiple Colossus vessels. It is like Fredding, there is no hardcoded line saying that you can not have more than one Colossus or Iceni.
2. It looks like a Corvette, and is the size of a Corvette.
3. It has the stats of a powerful Corvette, but not of a weak destroyer.
4. This is a friggin game! Little does it actually apply to the storyline in FS2, as to create non-volition battles. However, you can easily make any battle you choose to.
5. Like the Mjolnir MkII (Home Mjolnir with MjolnirBeam#Home), which is seen in one mission, and most of the time is unrecognizeable to the other Mjolnirs, I just try to add all the content of base FS2, plus new and different stuff.
I still havent made any fighter data charts, mainly because their data chart setup is different than the non-fighter data chart.
Ferret, I am going to need those pictures soon as my game nears completion.
