It may be a little early, but the homepage for The Babel Effect, the conclusion to FreeSpace 2: Twilight has been launched!

Currently several sections of the homepage are up, including a sneak peak at the GTCa Xanthus class carrier as well as a feel free to view a track from tBE's score.

I tried everything under the sun to get that campaign to work, such a pity I really liked the first few missions and I don't want to skip out the trouble ones incase I miss plot points.

Did you ever find out what it was that was creating the problems on certain computers?

Unfortunately many issues with the installers led to incompatabilities with some systems, a mistake I won't repeat

Actually I totally extracted everything into the proper FS directories it belonged to after trying the installer and still got the same error. I also tried your pause unpause idea but 'tis all fruitless. Thanks a lot for offering to help though, I'll attempt to give you the full rundown of the prob via mail.
