Anyone watching it? I'm... not impressed so far. Give me the Quo any day over U2.

Whats more, who in their right mind thought Sgt. Pepper was a decent song to open with?

I watched Richar dAshcroft sing Bittersweet symphony then turned off and switched onto me mp3s.  It looks really quite dull and devoid of atmosphere.

I'll take a look on the tellie once Green Day gets on. I missed what happened already, due to being stuck in the tech-support waiting room getting a CPU fan replaced. (Yeah, took 90 minutes....)

Well, I can only get half of the shows, due to Dutch TV doing a mix&match of all the concerts, and currently Duran Duran is on. Not something I care for, actually. I'm fighting with the AOL radio interface, trying to get music, but it only realy works when you're a subscriber, it seems. Anyone got a link for a working webcast?

I have to admit that this doesn't have the same feeling of urgency as the original live aid, just seems like a big free concert with no strings attached. I doubt it will have any lasting effect, no doubt Bush and Blair held back on their original funding just so they could appear to bump the amount up as a result of the concerts.

I say, if these multi millionaires give up all they own and give it all to the poor and hungry in Africa, then maybe, I would be moved to help the poor as well. This, honetly, is a waste of money in and of its self and is just a means for these ****tard artists to get some super happy feeling that they are doing something about Africa.
