Some of you may remember my 'GTt/GS Trogen', some time ago?  Well, It just had a bit of - okay, a major - Facelift.

Still some work to be doen round where the engines join the hull, but it's looking good poly-wise (currently made of overlapping and some mirrored sections, not unioned together, without trianglation - 3144 polys)

Now, If someone could take the time to explain (in simple language) how to get Bob's subobject rotation code to work with docking, then this is how the craft would look while docked:

[color=66ff00]That's one pretty piece of space-faring hardware. The main hull is somewhat ST Defiant-ish.

You should just lvlshot the pics.

I like it, but I don't quite take a fancy to that protrusion of a cockpit. It's...a lil...blech. But I dunno, it's not that bad, so you could probably get away with it. Nice

Cockpit/nose is overstretched, and the wings are a tad too simple for my taste. Otherwise....

Yeah, the cockpit's a bit too stretched, it looks like it's just begging for the ship to run into something and instantly kill the pilot. :p

Add some more dtail connnecting the cockpit and the main hull, then it will probably look better.

Also add some thickness and detail to the wings.
actualy, mabye not.

W/o it it'd look like a defiant. A defiant looks like ****, therefore I must disagree :p
I'd have questioned the usefulness of the wings and fins, then my eyes skipped over the perseus... Well, it's FSish, so...

*insert immature comment about name*

Very nice looking, I personally am a big fan of low-side profile ships, and this thing would look very cool in a squadron.

And GTt/GS ?

Yeah. Its the Defiant meets a PATCOM.

It is, however, a proper size for a corvette. Freespace needs corvette class ships. Of course, Freespace needs proper naval ship designations. Destroyers acting as carriers? Please.

well, it has logical name convention, cruisers being something that actually, hem, cruise around... you know, like small things that sound fast, not like... hem, never mind.

Somehow destroyer is a much better name for something big with huge weapons. Also, don`t forget SW Star Destroyers

As for the ship, it`s nice, but the wings are too thin.

Yeah, Star Wars has the same "backwards" naming convention.

Feh. Battleships and Carriers are the big beasts. Corvettes are little ones. Destroyers are up there above cruisers. Destroyers are escort craft for carriers and act as a screen against smaller, more manueverable craft.

Anything else is abomination.

So why does it have to be like the present? BTW, the name destroyer doesn`t fit something like the Fenris or today`s destroyers. They destroy small ships, oh wow.

Eh? Cruisers are bigger than destroyers. But yeah, FS naming is completely ass-backwards for the most part.

On-topic, I like most of the ship, but that spiky nose doesn't fit with the round, curvy shape of the rest of it.

In our universe, yes. in FS universe, no.

that looks hella cool, dude. keep it up!

[EDIT] Yeah, it looks like a Defiant/PatCom fusion.
