This, errr, took me a few minutes (following in the great Styxx tradition), but I wanted to test out this effect. Actually, I've known about it a few days, but I've just been keeping stuff to myself.

Anyway... take evasive action, pilot!

 

(I contemplated making the caption 'oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!'... but decided against it.)

I feel compelled to say that Setekh has been making a good 80% of progress lately, I've just been finding out his techniques and putting them into practice for myself. But it's fair to say we#ve both come a hell of a long way since the beginning...

Beware weak, watery imitations!

Bump-mapping. I just had a go at it last night, and here is what I came up with...
