Bah!

heh...
first: I have never played/seen the boxes/seen screencaps of fs 1 or 2 till that second pic was posted of the ship in the game environment. So...I have no idea what it was supposed to look like...
Plus I did the whole thing in about 2 hours...a little less then an hour to model...about an hour to texture...
(I had just woken up and decided to spit it out real fast)
b: Lights? Why? I could add them in, or Warlock can, I made it for him...
Third: This was my first ever attempt at a game model or texture...I think I did ok

And in conclusion: I don't plan on doing any more game model texturing stuff, except for the stuff I have already agreed to doing...I had to simulate bump maps in the textures, limit myself on texture sizes, and come up with whole new ways to texture things simulating the way it would look once rendered, and still keep a game type of feel to it...
All of that is a pain...I will stick to big ole complex models and mulitple maps and complex lighting and all the easy stuff...
You gamers make things hard on yourselves

And finally: heh I was getting frustrated with the textures so I cheated around the cockpit a lot byu just painting the polys in the general area black...
1, b, 3rd, conclusion, finally...anyone else think that was funny?

PS: My next game models will be better I promise
