Dodge through 14+ tie fighters and interceptors, with only 10% health left....I swear - not one of 'em touched me and I manage to kill a couple...and then..WHAM!!! hit by a #*($&@)($&)#@$ X-wing that was chasing them......


Oh, that and accidently blowing myself up by accidentally blowing up the cyclops I just launched because I was shooting at a fighter that went accross my front O_O

I still think mine is not getting the "Dive" part but following the "Hit your burners" command in that last SOC mission. I almost made it through the Sathanas

In TacticalOps, there have been many times when I've gone to reload my M4 w/ M203 after dispatching of a hostile. However, in order to do this you have to switch fire modes (primary fire fires bullets in the first mode, nades in the second).
So I'll encounter a terrorist, expend my MP5 ammo, whip out my m4 to spray some bullets down a hall and promptly die as I nade the wall right in front of me.

Playing JetStrike on the Amiga was always humiliating for me. Worse the game seems to know it and goes out of the way to take the piss.

For instance when you crash you get a big picture of a crater and a sign saying "You are here!"

Still the best death must be when I was flying a harrier through a road tunnel and started to lose control. In Jetstrike loss of control means only one thing. Time to eject. Of course I forgot about the tunnel and automatically hit the eject key. SPLAT!

I was playing MS Combat Flight Simulator and I was flying a Spitfire or some such against a wing of bombers and some fighters.

I'd chased them around a bit and made them veer around some. Then I started taking tiny shots at the bombers' engines, destroying their speed and screwing their turning. Then I started taking down the fighter escort. I took out one of the fighter's wings sending it spiraling into a bomber where it took out two battered engines and sent the poor bastard dropping. Then the fighter kinda bounced and went slamming into a second battered bomber, exploding it out-right and crippling another nearby fighter, which went spinning all over the place, ****ting itself. I took a few shots, took out one of its wings and it went careening into another of the bombers and destroyed a whole wing. Then, as the bomber plummeted, its tail guns caught sight of me and opened fire, raping my fighter to death.

I fought to gain control but the thing was wrecked, couldn't turn and was dropping like a stone......right into the last bomber.

So, as the final pirouette of this ballet of carnage, my fighter tore straight through enemy bomber, which went up in a collosal explosion, and I went speeding to my appointment with the ground laughing my ass off and screaming 'BANZAAAIII!!!".

Remember that mission whre you go after the Sath's beam cannons? I took out the beam cannons, and was waiting around. The Demon then jumped in, and my bomber took an LRed straight down the throat.

More recently I was attempting to save some hapless capital ship in FS2 by shooting down bombs and managed to run right into one.

Yeah something like that has happened to me too.
Except that I had already destroyed the Demon, there was only one shivan fighter left, I had already pressed alt+j and was about to warp out.
Can you guess what happened?
The one fighter comes and destroys me as I'm about to warp out (low hull integrity due to being hit by some flak and various other stuff which is rather hazardeous to any ship.)

Flying a Bf 109 in Forgotten Battles once...made a boom and zoom pass (from above and diving through enemies formation and then zooming back to altitude again) and I managed to collide with not one but two bombers...each who took off one wing of my fighter and I got turned into a missile like object that impacted the ground shortly thereafter.

Also...in FreeSpace 2...the Sathanas once hit me with all 4 main beam cannons.  There wasn't anything left.
