dude, things may even work out this time. I wouldn't bet on penalties though, the greeks look like they don't have the power to last out that long. Their chance is a quick strike during the first 15 minutes, otherwise, things'll get rough for them.

Well, looks like the Greeks are once again up for a surprise. Extra time against the Czechs, that's quite an acomplishment.

considering, that the czechs have yet to lose, that's mighy impressive. I'd love to see the greeks in the final. They'd certainly beat the crap out of the portuguese.

That was amazing. They sucked for 90 minutes and then got 3 amazing chances in overtime.

Tommorow, I'm going to watch the finals with my brother and my Greek friend who is really into soccer. We're probably going downtown to Danforth, which is the Greektown in Toronto. Gonna be lots of crazy Greeks, probably lots of crazy Portugese nearby also, and me in the middle. In other words, lots of fun. :D:D

edit: One of the advantages of living in such a diverse town is that you can actually get both sides in close proximity to each other. If you're living pretty much anywhere else in the world, there isn't likely to be large numbers of both Greeks and Portugese.

Tomorrow is going to be a great day, whom ever may win. Each team never made it this far before (that I know of), so this should be really interesting. This is also going to be the first time the two countries that started the Euro are also going to finish it! :D

They deserved it after beating France and the Czechs.
And so ends this great tournament. Congratulations to the Greeks, the new European Champion, and all countries for participating. Hope we see again in 4 years. :nervous:

Ay, this was certainly a big sensation! After defeating Portugal, France, the Czechs and Portugal again they certainly deserved it!
