Seems to say that I'm visiting here from Buffalo :p

Not that far off, but 100+ miles is a fair distance.

Don't worry. The map says that I'm surfing the web from 3000km away (the middle of Australia).

It looks like it's a stereotypical view of Australian population distribution. We're all crowded in the middle, in a desert for some reason.

Well, know that it's only updated once a day. Secondly, while it was just as admins around (and I'm the only Aussie admin), it was always just showing an icon at the middle; I figured that was because the counter wasn't specific enough. But the moment I logged in from uni, it registered that little dot that you see in New South Wales. So I just concluded that it was crazy. :D

Nah, it's probably just urban sprawl out of control. Sydney now stretches all that way inland.

Is that red dot that looks different than the others supposed to my location? Since it's somewhere in eastern Europe. :p Although there is one other red dot that appears to be fairly close to my place.

AFAIK, the map does not tell you which dot is yours. :)
