Lets just hope it doesn't draw producers and developers from the PC platform.

Edit: And yeah - those images are very impressive indeed.

The shading and surfaces are not that much different from what we've seen on I-War 2 - to me it just seems like the scenes have more polys. Get a top of the line gaming PC today and you'll be able to do that in real time. Consider the time it will take for the X-Box to hit the markets, and you'll have a game that can be played on a decent computer...

Yeah, the thing is, IW2 can be run on a 2-year old puter without any big deal.  The Xbox has top of the line guts, of course they can push the poly counts.

you missed the point: the point is that it looks great, and there's nothing like that running on any of your PC right now, right?

Wait till I get the devkit for I-War2 and you'll see something like that on your PC right away...

I just thought this might be a nice time to inform the lot of you about EVE: The Second Genesis. Just because the graphics are a true sight to behold. Needs any GeForce, equal or better.

Don't forget to sign up for the beta
Which was actually unofficially supposed to start last month...

Hmmm, considering how easy it is to port games and develop for the machine I'd guess this is already happening (Peter molyneux).
