Our next project will probably be a flame thrower. Little more dangerous though, so needs more preperation, safety stuff and testing...

flamethrowers arent that hard really, you need a pump, tank, airtight valve, and nozzile, all conected in that order in a closed, linier system. the plumbing is about the same as a super soaker, but using metal. you could probibly use an old skool steel pesticide sprayer, but i dont think youd get the proper range.

I recall seeing a video of a flamethrower made just out of a supersoaker. It seemed to work fine, so much so that the guy filming started yelling "stop it dude! you'll burn the whole ****ing house down!" while his mate kept on spraying flaming death everywhere around his garage.

well as far as that goes you can just brake the plastic nozzle off a supersoaker and attach the cheap plastic hose to a proper metal nozzel, to avoid melting of course .still id perfer a proper metal tank and pump so that you could get the proper pressure and thus better range.

Snow patrol do make some killer melodies it has to be said. But sometimes their lyrics sound really unnatural and jarring to my ear. I just ran it by some friends though and they didnt hear it (without showing them a specific example) so maybe it's just me.

But yeah, I hear you aboutgetting a bit bored with life. I've started a new job which is basically keeping me busy12 hours aday, not a good thing, but it certainly cuts downon the boredom. When I do have time to myself I call round to friends and drink, or meet friends out and drink or drink and wait for friends to show up randomly.

I do play games and browse the net (here) but if I do the latter for too long the sites start to turn to a more adult nature and I realise its time to stand up and walk away. Other than that, I read, play guitar, weork on making old computers usable, do nixers eetc...

I've just been doing the friends and beer thing so I'm very tired. Morepersonaly but pointless advcece for a stranger tomorrow. Or the next.Depends.

Gary Lightbody sings in an 'odd' way, I think; kind of atonal or stilted rather than the traditional melodic (it's actually really hard to sing along to; especially if you're an already tuneless bastard like me - lucky i'm usually in a nice muffling car).

But there are more than a few songs on Eyes Open that just *click* beautifully; I think the best album of 2006 so far.

What I do when Im bored depends on if Im alone or not. If Im not alone I usually sit by the computer and just click around, doing nothing really intelligent. But if I'm alone, funny things happen. Sometimes very loud
