Hello fellow citizens of the world,

Just so you all know, that I am still alive and have been watching the forum with interest.

I have been busy writing the scripts for both a movie and a TV series. The only problem I have is that I want to start with the movie then move onto the TV series, how do you guys think I could do it with the storyline? I mean, I dont want to do the whole movie on FS1, I want to include FS 1 in the series. Any ideas.

The scripts are based on the storyline on several main characters and is mainly about the stories on the universe, I only have 1 scene with marines in. But if you have any suggestions, let me here them!!

If you wanted to, you could do it like the stargate movie that goes into the stargate sg1 series. Stargate's a movie i need to watch again, but it focused on one really big and cool mission. When the movie was over the mission was accomplished. And then years later people came up with doing the idea for stargate sg1 which will be going into season 10(good show). But anyway, it'll keep you from turning everything into one or two trilogies.

The idea of a fighter squad going through a Knossos with variable exit co-ordinates, Who aqquiure a shivan wingman on their second mission (after blowing up an aincent of course) Would just be silly

And I have to say, any FS movie would be about the freespace universe, not the game itself... possibly sen trough multiple viewpoints (pilots, marines, ship captains....you could even inster the Bosh monologues beetween some timed events)

Been brought up before,

Mere humble suggestion, each episode could focus on a different role in the GTVA as a whole, Mission 1 could follow a destroyer captain, 2 a bomber pilot, 3 a convoy through pirate space, 4 a hangar greasemonkey, etc ad infinitum. If not you start out following a pilot in training just like FS campaign, (but with less like the training missions and more like the opening episode of Space above and Beyond.

Is the story gonna start with the TV war like FS1 or jump straight into FS2 land?

Shivans probably act like aliens from omicon persei B from futurama, Watch Ally Mcbeal and friends etc..

why? Not all of us would write it - we would only comment and post ideas.. A select few with writing skillz would actually do the writing.

hmmm I seriously doubt Interplay or Volition would care, they would probably support it because of all the attention it would give the games that honestly have gone unnoticed

I think having a T-V war for movie then afters for the series would be boring for the movie, so maybe you should do the final missions to destory the lucifer as the movie, then the series as a prequel. (?)
