That aside, you're pretty much the only one so far who looks like I imagined...

BTW, my father used to teach karate at a dojo. So about the guy with the black belt and the guy with the gun - it all comes down to how far apart they are. If it's under 2 meters or over 25-30 meters then the belt would either win or at least not lose (above 25-30 meters and the guy with the gun, if it is a pistol, can't hit the side of a barn door, and all the belt has to do is run away.  ).

Well, it also depends on the abilities of each of the guys. If it's a blind guy with a gun, I'm betting on the karate dude  . Otherwise, though, the unarmed guy only has the advantage if he's really close and the other still has to draw his weapon...

Don't make me laugh, there are good 3rd dans and bad 3rd dans, the only way you're taking out either is if they're asleep or in the process of taking a heart attack. Speed is not important. Timing, balance and rhythm are the most important factors in getting through a fight unscathed. What is your martial arts background anyway?

Anyway, the best fighters never brag about kicking anyones *** , they are aware that fighting is abhorrent and should be avoided at all costs.

Correct, they know that it'sa means of Self-Defense, and not offense!

But speed and strengh aren't eveything, most of all is accuracy!  If you stand there and block all day you're liable to miss a couple!  The best thing to do is block and hit at the same time!  You have to have both offense and defense!

But I don't know about taking on a 3rd degree blackbelt!  
I mean, eitherr you're trained too, or he wasn't really trying!

Or you're a natural!
I mean, I believe that you took him on, but it's virtually impossible!  Do you know how much work it takes to get a 3rd tae-kwon-do blackbelt? years!

And a novice with no experience can take him on?

i dunno     no offense or anything, it's just hard to believe!

Show me a movie of you two sparring or something
