It's kind of sad to see that Brazil is mostly know only for the soccer or the women, there's a lot more to the place than it seems.

This is totally random, but my sister went to Brazil a few years back, and she said that the people there liked to give the thumbs up. I'm not sure which part of Brazil she went to though.. *shrugs*

We all know the stereotypiccal views of countires / home cities,  but lets give a residential view so we really know whats its all about, EG
In London (central) everyopne does not talk like mary poppins or the queen. We dont stop for crumpets and tea at eleven, (although an oily rag doesnt go amiss me old china). The trains are packed andd when we do get a bit of sun the few green places (on the south bank) get snapped up by tourists with bloody cameras :D, THere is not a bobby on every corner and we dont all have bad teeth. ;7
Campaigns I've added my distinctiveness to-
- Blue Planet: Battle Captains
-Battle of Neptune
-Between the Ashes 2
-Blue planet: Age of Aquarius
-FOTG?
-Inferno R1
-Ribos: The aftermath / -Retreat from Deneb
-Sol: A History
-TBP EACW teaser
-Earth Brakiri war
-TBP Fortune Hunters (I think?)
-TBP Relic
-Trancsend (Possibly?)
-Uncharted Territory
-Vassagos Dirge
-War Machine

So be it, a more residential view of here:

In Brazil, most people struggle to survive, most jobs dont pay well and what you win is really not enough to last till the en of the month. Bad mouthing the government and other people is a national passtime for everyone, most people have no respect for others and lack much education altough if you're a tourist most people will treat you like a king. And we dont have monkeys running on the street like a certain Simpsons episode shows altough our money its quite colorful.

In Colorado anyway, we're all thin and lazy most of the time, when fall comes we're all in the gym getting in shape, then when winter hits, we're all in the mountains with our skis and snowboards. That just about sums up Colorado, and I don't know enough about the US at large to try and figure out what's true and what's not about them.

In London we don't all wear Bowler hats and talk in a camp manner.
Slagging off the government is pretty much a national pastime here as well, or, failing that, slagging off everyone elses government.
Most Londoners do not think that the weather is actually all that interesting.
We are very multi-cultural, and being an island culture, and therefore slightly xenophobic, yes, we do struggle with it slightly.

Russia's history has earned it a reputation as a tortured land. (Although I think Indonesia really wins the "most ****ed" award.)

Hmm... Australia is... well, the most common description I hear from foreigners is "laid back". My perspectives from Western Australia rather than Sydney, which everyone assumes is all of Australia, but it really, really isn't. In a nutshell:

The weather's beautiful the majority of the time, Jobs are plentiful, crime is low. We drink lots of beer, eat lots of steak. Wrestling Crocodiles isn't the national passtime, but surfing, cricket, AFL and sport in general are probably as popular as they are perceived - i.e. very. There aren't kangaroos hopping about the city streets, but if you head out of the city you do have a decent chance of hitting one. Of course, most people never do head out of the cities, but, well, screw them, their loss. The government pretends we're an all embracing, multicultural society, but really, we're not - there is still a lot of racism in Australia. Everyone thinks Steve Irwin is a dickhead.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we all hate our government in the US too.

Based on the statements of people on this board, I've gotta suspect  that's not exactly a representative viewpoint for the whole populaion :p
