before you start looking at this thread you have to understand that almost all of these people leave theyr dank basement once every 10 years, after that fact sinks in its not so bad to see the pictures.

Actually, I find HLP people fit that stereotype far less than other gaming forums I've seen.

You should see the AppleGeeks people, they definitely fit the profile (for the most part).

I used to go to a LAN in London though... there was a good mix of people there between 18(ish) and 30 odd with one guy who was in his late 30s but still a great guy anyhow. Weird thing was that although we loved a bit of a geek-fest as much as any computer player, a lot of us didn't really look it from the outside.

Interesting.  Didn't know you're musician.  Where do you usually perform live?

Haven't played live for about a year (since I left college and came to Boston).  Right now I'm writing my new album.  It's sort of like Muse meets Chili Peppers meets Smashing Pumpkins.  It's pretty sweet.

When I was in college my band never got big but I have opened for Rusted Root, Head Automatica, and Fallout Boy.
