Here's my first attempt at including FX in a render... and it sucks serious eggs.
The scene depicted below is a maneuver known as a "Tache Weave" developed an american ace in WWII. It is a riposte maneuver where two craft bring down an aggressor craft using teamwork. When attacked, the two craft split formation, each going in a different direction. The agressor has to choose one of them to follow and will give chase to one of the craft. The two wingmen immediately turn and head back toward each other, the one being chased leads the aggressor into the gunsights of the other.
The inspiration for the render came from playing the Starfighter conversion in team vs. mode on my friend's LAN. The F-44 can out turn the type-39 so conventional dogfighting will fail, you have to trick the western player into flying into your wingman's gunsights. The other maneuver you can use is an extend and escape, using your superiour top speed to out-run the F-44 until you get enough distance to turn around for another charge.

There, are you happy heretic?
