If that blue haze is supposed to be the shields, then no, it doesn't look awesome.

Am I the only one here who really likes the look of this game? It's being made by the ones that bought you X-Wing Vs Tie and X-Wing Alliance, they know thier stuff. And with regards to that shield effect - you never know how it'll look till you see it in action.

No you are not the only one.
I didn't really like x-wing as much as i did Tie Fighter though.

No can do - I just found another image of the Akira and it's got that same thing on it...I think my basis was Star Trek Armada and it didn't have that on it...IIRC...
