As for the executions... well, as much as I disagree with what's been happening here, I can't say I really want that to happen. Sure, it
will send out a strong message - capital punishment always does - but at what cost? The criminals' lives. Some of them were mentally ill, others came from broken homes, and really though this is inexcusable I don't think taking their lives away would be the right thing to do.
Oh and Coug, yes it has rained the past day, and my goodness I can tell you it's been a long time coming. Almost two weeks below 10% humidity - that's very,
very dry. And the two helicopters coming into assist Elvis are being assembled as we speak.
(Elvis is a special firefighting helicopter, capable of carrying over 9000L of water to the fire location.)
