the most fun game played (classic games only)
this is for games when it wasnt all heavy corperate stuff like EA or Microsoft and Ubisoft.

that means the year 2k and below to 1982, the 3 most fun games you have ever played.

1. Forsaken: launching a lot of nukes down a corridor killing enemies left right and center then watching the explosion come back and missiles flying out of the explosion that was fun

2. Biomenace: throwning grenades in the water and watching body parts of the mutants fly about  :mad2:

3. Midtown Madness: escaping the cops on a checkpoint race, i pulled up the clutch let the car slide on the grass, the cops hit me gave me more upmh!, dropped the clutch then flawed it, while looking in the rear view mirror the cop cars were all in a heap caught in other cars, trucks, busses and a traffic light post  :P

Lets see... 2000 and older...

1. Freespace 2
2. Deus Ex
3. Half-Life

...

Maybe you should make it, like before 1995 or something.

i think 7 years is pretty old for game years, in game maker years 7 years is like 1000 years old. i think there classic enough, but your games are classic but im also looking for games that are the most fun you played from 2000 and below?

You know, EA wasn't always a corporate menace.  They made some pretty good games way way back when - Archon, Archon 2, Mule, Mail Order Monsters, 7 Cities of Gold, the Bard's Tales, wasteland.

Dsysko, is that Jane's Fleet Command? :) I have that game. It was alright, but a tad too slow (and the interface was rubbish).

Yes, it's Jane's Fleet Command.
If you haven't already done so, check this. It will add tons of other ships and aircrafts, but be aware that it's not backward-compatible with the original Fleet Command missions and campaigns.
Huh... I just noticed that a new version of the NWP has come out. I have still to try that.

Do you consider Sonic Team to be "heavy corporate stuff"? ::)

If not, Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

This would be Sega mascot Sonic? Or some other Sonic I haven't been previously aware of, who just co-incidentally has a friend called Knuckles? I believe this would determine the answer to your questions.

Yes, but if you'd consider Sonic games to be "heavy corporate stuff" then games like Half-Life and Homeworld aren't exactly... "light corporate stuff"!  :blah:

2000 is not all that old by my standards. :p I think all but one of the games I listed in the top 10 thread were from 2000 or earlier.

Jesus, man, learn to play the game!

When someone blatantly baits you, you can go ahead and call him on it. But when someone misreads one of your posts and tries to give you some **** about it - as Ghost seems to have done - you're supposed to highlight his mistake and ridicule him in a jovial and lighthearted manner, not take the damn bait and act like you're completely up yourself.

Back OT, i'm going to second that any game in the Sonic series [or, at least Sonic 1, 2, 3 & Knuckles] was too damn fun to be legal. :p
