"****ING HACKER **** YOU, THATS IMPOSSIBLE!"

*player dumbass has left the game*

That actually happened over a multiplayer game? :wtf:
To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios
I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

Re: Most Recognizable Freespace Dialogue?
What good old days are you talking about? You started playing like, yesterday.

And I don't even know where you got the hacked tables from. I guess that's common now or something. You never played with your files modified in the "real" old days. Anyone who got a "hacked tables" message was booted immediately.

"Ours was a proud people...."

You know the rest. :)

To me, that whole set of five cutscenes cemented FreeSpace in my mind. Especially the fifth one. :D

As for other things:

"Listen to me. There's no way we can stop them this time. Shut down the portal before it's too late, there's something out there Command!"

I have 10,000 officers and crew willing to die for neo terra...." and you know how the rest goes.

For me it was just epic. The whole scale of his statement.

Applied to modern day in my siggy.

In a totaly distastefull manner I might add....

How about:

"Capella has gone supernova! Repeat - Capella has gone supernova! Get out of there NOW!"

Just having fun.  ;)

How about:

"Capella has gone supernova! Repeat - Capella has gone supernova! Get out of there NOW!"
That remiends me... what was the very last line from ingame? It ended with "Godspeed, pilots" IIRC
"Your efforts to interdict me have failed, papacy. Pentagon, engage propaganda drive."
"Now, Protestant scum, you will see the power of this fully armed and operational Papal Station!"

Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

IIUC, the mediavps currently cause a "hacked tables" message when active during a multiplayer game.

Just an observation, don't get mad, but why are you always so bitter, BlackDove?
Interestingly enough, this signature is none of the following:
A witty remark on whatever sad state of affairs the world may or may not be in
A series of localized forum in-jokes
A clever and self-referential comment on the nature of signatures themselves.
