seems to be crashing while saving glow points.

memcpying a class with a string object in it is never a good idea

ok, glowmapping: working.

yay me.

only took me three freaking /*headache*/ hours to figure out I wasn't setting UV coordanants properly.

I got our extension problem solved by using GLee

After 3 hours you probably don't want to hear this.
Some textures are not loading. Seems to be tga also some dds, but I can't figure a pattern to the missing dds.
The correct texture wire frame colour is showing on the sub-objects with missing texture.
On most of the ones showing texture the texture wireframe colour is black.
The two models I looked at with turrets, only the turrets were missing texture.

Oh and glow maps -

Edit:
The untextured and wireframe views are a lot darker than textured mode.

i had noted that and fixed it.. dunno if i got a chance to commit to CVS repo (i removed POFString::~POFString())

well I fixed it and committed it already, so I guess you should be ready for a conflict there.

wait a sec, you removed the destructor!? isn't that going to cause an unimaginably colossal memory leak?

anyway, yeah, should be working, test it, be warned it slows things down noticeably.

the destruction wasn't "Safe" to the way the class was being used - but since that is the only spot where bad behavior cropped up we can go with your usage

HTL Hecate still chrashes while trying to open the POF.

The strange thing is that it almost seems random.. first time I tried it chrashes wile loading textures...the second time I tried it chrashed immediately..

EDIT...this is rich...everytime I try it a new error number...

"An unhandeled win32 exception has occured in PCS2.exe [1840]"

"An unhandeled win32 exception has occured in PCS2.exe [3920]"

"An unhandeled win32 exception has occured in PCS2.exe [468]"

etc...

latest build..tried it now..still does hte same thing...win32 exception (with some random number)

then wants to debug it with Visual Studio 2005...
