I cant believe it they killed daniel jackson =( and next weeks is supposed to end in tragedy too - but hopefully for the goauld surely they couldn't kill off more cast memebers just after daniel - although i got to admit there is the possibity of daniel coming back but stilllllllllll

Well, is that bad? Important people dying is always good for make tragic parts in a plot. Anyway, he already died in the movie, and still he came back after 5 minues

If main characters can't fail, you don't have risk, and thus no dramatic tension.

i dont know i still think it will be weird i hate when they introduce new characters into main roles and they cant have sg1 with just 3 poeple in it - and jackson complimented the team - teal the jaffa warrior - o'niel the exerinaces solider - cater the scientist and jackson the geek who know and could pseak to jsut about any alien - hopefully he will come back  - and he didn't fail he saved a lot of peopl dieing by defusing a bomb that was about to blow up a planet or at least a good deal of it just happened to touch the thing - abit unfortunate really

One of the things (besides graphics) that Final Fantasy:TSW got right was right at the very end. Ash died. AND HE STAYED DEAD. If he had gotten back up, I'd have demanded my money back.

Well, it's japanese. Even if they made it for US audience (which sadly was a big mistake), they were still japanese, and, well, japanese movies often end this way. They temprered the thing coz even if the captain dies, it's not a sad end, after all.
Grea movie, it's really a shame it was a flop.

Jackson will not be returning any time soon. He failed to sing on as a regular for series 6 (?) but he is due to re-appear in a few episodes.

My theory on the next 2 series of Stargate:

Anubis attacks Earth. Asguard ship comes to whip *** . Having advanced tech from wherever he went, Anubis whoops the Asgard vessel and capture Thor. Jackson or the Tollan come to the rescue and obliterate all of Anubis' forces.

nope anubis have proved he still fears the asguard by trying to get the tollan to destroy earth and besdies i doubt many if any of the tollan survived

the asguard have promised to help defeat the goauld once the repilcator threat is over but they cant as it would end the series - and remember the goauld dont invent new tech they steal it and there is noone as advanced as the asguard except perhaps the nox left in our galaxy and we know all the races of the alliance took steps to prevent the goauld gaining there tech the anicents stuff jsut didn't respond to the gouald and i bet money that any asguard nox or the other ones tech they find will be equally useless to them - besides it would spoilt the show - we like to look upto the asguard as the supremely poweful good guys - we know they can take the gouald but we know they cant afford to at the moment since they are fighting for there lifes

also got to point out that anubis's second attack on earth was another attemp to not let the asguard know that the goauld were responcible  an asteroid filled with naaqutia when reported to that asguard they jsut saw it as  natural disaster and never would have been the wise except for carter having worked out a plan to save the world (again) while it seesm thor might be injured or captured i doubt it was cause he was defeated in battle by the goauld it would take a large fleet of motherships to trouble an asguard mothership remeber the differnce in level of tech - the goauld the tollan the tokra all take days go get around the galaxy - the asguard can fly from one galaxy to another in minutes - the asguard rule!!!!!!!!!!
