Shouldn't this be in PMs?

It was taken to PM's. Nothing was done. Now im hoping the HLP community can help me by 'petitioning' against this, since ive done nothing to deserve it, and the fact that they could do it to any of you, clearly for no apparent reason.

This little uproar just makes me agree with your title more.  It's a title, I don't really take it seriously, and I doubt anyone else does.

Point there, but you shouldn't bug him if he dislikes it. If it isn't a big problem, then somebody should of fixed it by now and got it over with. That hasn't happened, so now we're here talking about it. Besides, it is a title. A title is a title, and the title "n00b" or anything along that lines gives a first impression on somebody.

What you do if you get a title like that, is you do something to help benefit the community, like join a mod team or something, or donate a lot, so when the newbs inquire about you, you can be like "oh, it's just a title. I'm just a productive member of the community in disguise". Then they would be like "oh. I can't make fun of you for being a noob then, because you contribute, while I don't at all*. I essentially just waste space on HLP's server."



*I do realize that not all new members are like that.

This really does seem like a hell of a lot of Drama over a really unimportant thing to be honest.

I seem to recall we actually keep the 'Prima Donna' title in reserve for people who complain about their titles, so consider yourself lucky

I'd just like to quickly address the "where are all the admins" question - since we're not deliberately avoiding this thread.

I have some family matters going on which cropped up incredibly recently - as well as having only returned from Glastonbury around 6am today. Suffice to say I've been incredibly AWOL and that's set to continue till after next weekend.

The other admins are all also fairly busy at the moment with varying things.

Suffice to say - we're not avoiding issues like this - we're simply swamped.
