2009 Cadillac CTS-V.

Some highlights:
- 550HP, 550ft/lbs torque
- 6.2L supercharged V8 (LSA)
- Fastest reacting suspension in the world (magnetic)
- microfiber material added to steering wheel, seats and shifter, to help support high-performance driving (moisture resistant)
- 6 piston calipers in the front, 4 piston in the back

One of my dad's friends has a CTS-V. He let my dad do a burnout with winter tires. My dad told me that he was burning rubber through all of first gear, with a bark into second. Dang man, it's like a luxury Viper, only a little slower.

0 to 60 in what, 6 seconds.  I don`t know, i could get in a lot of trouble with that kind of power. People at work call me leadfoot now as it is.  :nervous:

Beautiful car!  Easily the best Buick yet...Buick seems to be on a roll right now with this and the Enclave.  Very good to see!

0-60 in 4.6 seconds actually.  and that's in mine... the OLDER model CTS-V.
i'm going to assume this one is just as fast, if not a few tenths of a second faster! ;)

and yeah, if i shift right, i'll burn rubber all through 1st gear, squeal into 2nd, and chirp into 3rd :)

Interesting how the gas costs rise and rise and rise but American people STILL tend to buy cars with high fuel needs.
I guess either you have a sports car, a truck or a 4x4, either you will be laughed at.

Nice car though mate, wouldn't mind one myself. Although I don't know enough about the US market to compare it to the CTS-V available here. Mind if I ask what the sticker price is?

sticker price on this hasn't been released yet.  on Jan. 14th i'll be attending a Q&A with GM engineers, designers, etc. so i intend to ask what the expected price will be.  i'm guessing at least $65,000, since the 04-07 CTS-Vs were $52,000+ sticker price

Yeah pretty much. I remember one time I met one of my dad's friends and one of the first questions he asked me was "where's your rig?" and was totally stunned when I told him I didn't own a car or a truck.

Me likes the interior photo. :) :yes:

Though I won't expect to see a car like that roam the streets here; even if it does, it'll most likely be owned by some wealthy person who doesn't know where to throw his/her money at... someone who could buy a new F430 every week or something.
