My friend (chief programmer at Provox Games) talked to his boss. Yup, I'm on the top on the future employee list but they will start hireing new staff after the new year. So I now I gotta go look for some other job for the time being, since I don't plan on sitting on my ass for the next 3-4 months.

I had Macroeconomics today, followed by a >1 hour break and then freshman seminar for an hour. During that break I drank a Starbucks Caffe Latte, paying for it by my premium meal plan (~$95/week instead of the stock $60/week). It was decent--a bit hot but that's to be expected. Came out well. After freshman seminar, I had lunch (hotdog and frenchfries) and then sort-of signed up for Capoeira.

Interview went "Exceptionally" well, two quite prim and proper women interviewed me. one about twenty-five'ish the other approaching late thirties.
Towards the end of the one hour interview we were all laughing and swearing and talking about eastenders and i've been called backfor a second interview next wednesday

my skillsets were never in question, today was a formality. I didn't break into full chat mode until i gently mirrored breaks in the stern-faced facade. then it brought the real "tem" out into the fray

Yep. I had a steak-and-mushroom sub with fries (again) and another cookie for dinner. It was decent--though I scalded my tongue in the process and dinner hurt it again. Oh well! But 3 classes tomorrow. I'll go early so I can drink a coffee in the morning. Another caffe latte sounds good right now.

I have to make a new resume. AND I DON'T WANNA! I hate independent projects Everyone keeps telling me that it's going to be fun, but i really don't think it's going to be. If anything conflicts with my to be formulated for this semester study schedule and classes, i'm going to be one unhappy dude until december 17th.

I did a factory reset of my modem. Apparently, all those diagnostic tools that came with it do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

UPDATE: I'm finding out that the resume thing isn't so daunting. And will have it done in the next few days working on it a little bit each night, and have my  mother review what i have done so far while she's still in state.

The bad is that the U computers started passwording only the usb booting feature on all their computers. They did that a  heck of a lot sooner than expected. Although telling my friend who works in tech support about they're horrible security weakness, probably helped to institute a new standard. Oh well, i still have live-cds and thumb drives. And when they start passwording that...on to make a bootable floppy for a live cd...etc. Idk why they didn't just require an administrator password for booting any kind of media rather than just passwording the boot from usb. Seems pretty dumb that they would not password all bootable features upon startup on their computers, and only do just one.
