I painted a car for TrackMania in The GIMP, added an alpha channel with my (very old) Paint Shop Pro demo, and then converted it to .dds with Paint.NET. Unfortunately that old demo of PSP has a habit of stuffing up .tga files making them appear melted, which I forgot about and didn't spot until I got it in game. So I tried to convert my .psd to .tga again with GIMP, but it had not saved properly, meaning I had to fix it up as best as I could manually. :mad:

Well, I decided to name my Vasudan charicter Sutehk, after looking at a list of Egyptian names I had around to help with naming ships.  So far the story has a prelude for those unfamiliar with freespace, a short prolouge, and over half of the first chapter.
