Why do people have ex problems ? I usually wind up being good friends with my ex.
I tend to lack the good sense to let go when it can still be an amicable parting, so instead it all goes down in flames. Arguably I was also predisposed towards that ending by the...betrayal's not the correct word, I suppose, but something like that, of the first girl I was seriously interested in.
However as I said earlier, this is not really ex problems, because she's not my ex. It would be rather surprising if she were, since the last time I saw her we were both 12. She's just someone I knew well back on the East Coast before moving to California, a good friend. She grew up rather good-looking, alas, and like the girlfriend, she knew me before...nevermind what.
The worst thing about this is Alessia finds my discomfort amusing, and has actually encouraged her. I am, I suppose, vaguely curious as to whether Alessia is blowing smoke or actually finds a two-girl situation acceptable, but a rather significant part of me doesn't want to know.
