I just finished the main FreeSpace 2 campaign and experienced getting supernova'd for the first time. Cheap effects.

I was 9km away from the jump node when Command rang, so I put everything to engines and made a run for it. When the supernova hit, I was less than 1000m away. Damn.

That's what I get for chasing bombers in an Ares.

Well, the first time around, I was 12km away. When Command to me to run like hell for the node, I looked at the distance, and went, 'Bugger that.'

That would probably happen to me too if I wasn't curious enough to look up hints and tips on Interplay...

In my case, I wasn't watching the time. Commands rings at 11:50; Interplay recommends dropping everything 50 seconds early. All I needed was thirty seconds to get to the jump node and warp out.

Replayed KotOR, started a new game and bumped my stats up to GHEY levels. Once I pick my Jedi class, I'ma max my level and give Revan all teh feats and p0werz.

No, you can't. Which was why I was so sad. I laid down TWENTY DEVASTATING mines down, and then the battle gets played out in a cutscene that ignores the existance of the work of art that was my minefields. No infantry assault in the SW universe short of a Jedi rush or Dark Trooper strike coulda gotten thru those mines.

I discovered I can 'interdict' my younger brother's access of B.Net simply by activating my utorrent. In fact, I can effectively stop anyone from surfing if my utorrent is up and running.

Today I watched a pretty good Japanese movie, during my last Japanese lesson of the semester.
